Starting in Q2 2022, Apple increased production of iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max to more than 10 million units compared to the previous quarter.

According to information from The Elec, Apple increased production orders for the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max this quarter, mainly due to the higher demand for the expensive Pro line than originally anticipated. Apple’s.

In the first quarter of this year, Apple only ordered 1 million iPhone 13 Pro units, while Pro Max was produced in 3.5 million units.

However, starting in Q2 of 2022, Apple increased the number of iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max to more than 10 million units compared to the previous quarter.

Of the 10 million additional production orders, the majority belonged to the 6.1-inch iPhone 13 Pro, from a meager number of the previous quarter to nearly 8 million units ordered in the second quarter. The 6.7-inch iPhone 13 Pro Max had fewer additional orders – from about 3.5 million to 6.5 million.

An additional order of 10 million iPhone 13 Pro / Pro Max units will bring great benefits to some component suppliers such as LG, which provides camera modules, and Samsung, which provides LTPO OLED screens.
