KTM Duke 250 2022 will have a more attractive new outfit

KTM Duke 250 2022 has just been introduced at the KTM Premium showroom and service center in Jalan Klang Lama, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This 250 cc naked bike model has two new color options, silver and black, replacing the previous color schemes of orange and white.

KTM Duke 250 2022 has just been introduced in Malaysia with the price unchanged from its predecessor, which starts at RM 21,500 (equivalent to USD 5,080).

KTM Duke 250 2022 still maintains its strong style, both in terms of design and performance.

Entering the new version, KTM Duke 250 2022 still owns the power from a single-cylinder, 248.8cc DOHC engine, liquid-cooled and four-valve. The engine block gives a maximum capacity of 30 horsepower at 9,000 rpm, maximum torque of 24 Nm from 7,250 rpm, comes with a 6-speed gearbox.

KTM 250 Duke 2022 uses a familiar grid frame, with striking orange paint. The front suspension includes a pair of USD WP forks with a diameter of 43 mm and at the rear is also a WP shock absorber.

The legs on the KTM Duke 250 2022 like the suspension and pair of wheels have not changed either, with a non-adjustable 43mm WP Apex upside-down fork at the front and a WP Apex mono-shock at the rear, adjustable. .

In the new version, KTM Duke 250 continues to own a full digital LCD screen, is equipped with an Assist & Slipper clutch and a 13.5L fuel tank.

Braking is a single radial four-piston caliper at the front with 300 mm disc calipers with a single-piston caliper at the rear, both supplied by Bybre, Brembo’s entry-level brand.

With an electronic fuel injection system and a completely new exhaust system integrated with the engine, KTM Duke 250 2022 meets the latest emission standards.

Bosch 9.1MB ABS is standard equipment, although it lacks the KTM 390 Duke’s “SuperMoto” mode. The fuel tank has a capacity of 13.4 liters, while the weight of the Duke 250 is 146 kg dry and the seat height is at 830 mm.

KTM Duke 250 2022 owns a brake system including a single 320 mm 4-piston brake disc for the front legs and a single 230 mm 1-piston disc brake at the rear. The 2-channel ABS safety feature from Bosch is standard equipment.

Regarding the lighting system, KTM Duke 250 comes with LED DRLs while the main headlights use Halogen bulbs but the rear lights are LEDs. Above the steering wheel, a simple monochrome LCD screen displays all the necessary information and includes a gearshift indicator light.
